Sweet & Sour (2021). DEFINITELY WORTH TO WATCH!

Sweet & Sour has just been released today! And it's amazing!

Okay, so I just finished watching the movie minutes ago but I'm still completely feeling dumbfounded. The movie begins with a life of 8 hours shift nurse, Da-Eun (Chae Soo Bin), who takes care of a jaundice patient named Jang Hyeok. However, Da Eun treats him unordinary. She reveals her unique sides such as sleeping in his bed, joining him eating, and even smoking. Jang Hyeok is easily attracted with this nurse until finally he gets her number.

Then the story goes about Jang Hyeok (Jang Ki Yong) who is transferred into a bigger company as a temporary contract worker. He starts his busy life. He chooses not to commute but to drives his own car so he can always meet his girlfriend but later caused him a lot of stress due to traffic jam. He adapts to a competitive work environment and encounters his competitor, Bo-Yeong (Jung Soo Jung / Krystal Jung). Instead of continuing their vicious competition, Jang Hyeok later finds a soft spot for Bo-Yeong. His work requires him to pull an all-nighter at the office, makes him get irritated easily and the worst, he slowly neglects his girlfriend, Da Eun. Everything becomes way more complicated when Da Eun has an important news to tell him...

This romantic comedy movie is super light and funnily sweet in the beginning of the movie. I presumed it'd be a lovey-dovey romantic story. Apparently, I was wrong. As the characters are overcoming their obstacles, the story is instantly 100% more interesting. It's sweet, melancholic, reality-check and naughty kind of movie. Personally, I really like how the story has a very deep meaning yet it's presented lightly. If you're in the mood of watching a romantic comedy that's visually presented in calm-tone mannered, I suggest you to sit down and watch this movie on Netflix.

P.S: You will be taken into certain period of times to figure out the story line. Hang in there.
