My Beautiful Grandma
I saw my grandma dancing to Frank Sinatra's Something Stupid
Feet to her right and left, swirling to the melody
Mouthing the I love you to us
Her smile, scent, and loose fat skin
She took our hands, pulled us closer
Following her steps to right and left
Tapping toe twice each
Clapping hands, moving with the rhythm
So beautiful my grandma
I wish that's how I remember her last time
Not laying in her death bed With the pain
Unable to say I love you to us for the last time
And no warm embrace that she would give for free
In the morning, she wasn't with us anymore
She's already dancing to heaven.....
