My Grandmother Sends Her Regards and Apologises

Elsa, an almost-eight-year-old girl, has her eccentric grandmother as her superhero. Although everyone at school says Elsa is different and all her peers always chase her down because of her quirkiness, she's never been bothered about it because she's the smartest kid of her age. Her grandma is always be there for her, turn everybody blood down for picking up on her and tells her the tale of six kingdoms from Land-Almost-Awake. But one day grandma dies of cancer, Elsa understands the term from Wikipedia. She is upset but also asked to send a letter to The Monster for her grandmother sends her regards and apologises. Apparently, sending these letters is bringing Elsa a new journey and new friends that she never had before. A journey that unveils her grandma's past, every neighbor's story and why mum is always fighting with grandma.

A very upturning story that relates a created tale into reality. It's hilarious of grandma's character is defined, enticing traits of Elsa, and genius revealing plot. This book isn't just a page turning but also mixed of various kind of feelings. I cannot believe someone can put adventurous, touching, funny, cantankerous, and dark elements into one wonderful storyline. Not only the writer has amazingly written such a book, but to transform such idea into a bloody simple yet funny story is so mind-blowing!

Will I recommend this book? A hundred percent of yes!
